About CinCHouse.com

I know there's many of us who have been grateful to have this online family, and this is my moment. Thanks to everyone who's ever given helpful advice and helped me during a bad day, which  there's been a few. I couldn't have gone through DH's basic and techschool, then preparing for our move without you. Also, I am so grateful for eodwife and sharkbait for welcoming me in when I eventually arrive to England (if the day ever comes) and also welcoming that husband of mine. I'm so glad there was a site set up this way. I could never find a one stop place where I knew I'd get all the information I needed.

CinCHouse.com Launches Wounded Solider Wife Blog and Resources
January 12, 2009

January 12, 2008

HAMPTON ROADS, VA – CinCHouse.com announced it has launched of the in-depth blog, “Wife of a Wounded Solder” by Cheryl Gansner. Gansner’s struggle and success is chronicled in her blog, alongside resources for other spouses of wounded warriors.

“Cheryl has an amazing way of mixing great information into her emotional struggle, with a heavy dose of love for her husband and optimism for the future,” said CinCHouse founder Meredith Leyva. “She is a beacon of hope for other spouses of wounded warriors and, quite honestly, all of us who have a husband in the military.”

"I started out writing a journal the day my husband was severely injured by an Improvised Explosive Device on July 28th, 2006,” said Gansner. “I needed a way to record my thoughts and to process what we were going through. In reaching out to other spouses of injured service members, I decided to share my experience to normalize it; so they did not feel alone. Our story is of pain, sadness, love, triumph, and life changing experiences."

“Wife of a Wounded Solider” is featured on the home page of CinCHouse.com and can be viewed directly at http://www.cinchouse.com/MilitaryLiving/WifeofaWoundedWarrior/tabid/1755/Default.aspx.
