Giving Back Minimize

Are you looking for ways to connect with your community and give back? Here are some ideas.

1. Support the families of those deployed. Once a month, reach out to a family who is currently going through a deployment. Make a meal for them, invite them to join your family on an outing, offer to watch their children, help them unload groceries, etc…

2. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and relieve pressure off Guam's landfill. Local schools collect soda cans and newspapers. Andersen also has an extensive recycling center - the first right after you enter the main gate (1 & 2 plastic, white paper, magazines, cardboard, glass, soda cans). If you live at LeoPalace - there are some children who are running a recycling collection business there. Reuse plastic bags or use cloth bags when you go to the commissary.

3. Go the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society website for a list of their local services.
