Hi! My DH is considering trying to get a spot on the USS Jimmy Carter. Does anyone have any experience with that sub? I'm really wondering how often it is at sea compared to a typical fast attack submarine. TIA!

From the people I know about it, it runs just like all your other fast attacks, just in a different location. Sea time depends on what's going on and what they need it to do. There are so many subs here they are always coming in going and their point is to do it undetected. But it's sure a busy base up here.
