 Stumped about what to have for dinner
 Proud of myself for steam vacuuming our futon
 I'm starving today! I can't eat enough!
 The pipe heading from our washer is leaking.    Why is ish always breaking around here?!
 Thank goodness for warranties.
 I must be pregnant if cottage cheese tastes good.
 Its funny how the littlest act of affection or appreciation can turn a bad relationship day into a good one.
 Its soooo windy here! |

 is it always this windy in el paso?????
 feeling completely unmotivated today
 i did manage to haul 4 loads of laundry across the complex and get them washed dried, an now they are mostly put away
 still havent hung up my clothes though
making white bean chicken chili for dinner Yum! |

 Went to the podiatrist today and found out my toe has been broken for 2 months.
I should NOT have listened to DH when he said it was a sprain. It hasn't healed at all and the doctor is not happy about that.
I have to wear a walking boot for 7 wks now!!
To drive, I have to wear a hard soled surgical shoe, then put on the boot before I get out of the car.
 I would really like my hubby home now.
But I do have an AMAZING neighbor who drove me there and even brought in my trash can for me. |

I should NOT have listened to DH when he said it was a sprain. It hasn't healed at all and the doctor is not happy about that. DH said his finger was jammed... umm two or three months ago.. and he still can't move it. DHs are NOT doctors (unless they're a corpsman lol) Good luck with your toe!! |

I feel like time is dragging and i hate it
 but its not long till DH gets home
 wondering where the fast forward button is
but i've got the frigde cleaned out, laundry caught up, floors scrubbed and everything ready for homecoming, except....
 i need to mow the yard but not wanting to be out in this wind
 Ok i am soooo over this El Paso wind....can it stop now?
so i called a lawn care company to came do the yard work for me
haven't heard from DH and i'm feeling whiny
But he'll be home soon! |

blah wind...makes me keep putting off going grocery shopping
almost the end of the week
which means dh will be coming home
i hate this dog....it chews EVERYTHING THAT IS MINE

The wind is driving me nuts, El Paso Ladies! It was so windy that on garbage day it seems that everyone's cans blew over and there's trash blowing up and down the neighborhood. Ew! |

Finally have a day off tomorrow!
Going on a Lush shopping spree
Still crossing my fingers that DH gets leave!
Things have been kinda rocky between us but we finally got through it... Ah, I love that man! |

Had a great lunch out with some old coworkers, it was nice to have some human interaction!
 I've been confused about life lately and I wish I had someone to talk to about it without feeling like a bad person.
Dinner tonight with a fellow ship wife!
 All I can think is baby baby baby right now...but now is NOT the time!
Trying to resist going to Sephora and spending, oh a paycheck there!
 Thinking of buying a spontaneous plane ticket to Oregon to see my best friend's family - and maybe sort myself out a little bit, too
This is how DH would probably feel about it though

DF comes back from the field today
He told me he would be back this afternoon, but I still haven't heard from him

Got a text from DH at 4am, and answered it, but I didn't know that until I went to text someone at lunch time. Apparently I text in my sleep now. At least I spelled everything right.
Work was nice and calm today, just the way I like it.
I got a hair cut, about four inches shorter and new layers. I'm pretty sure I like it, but I won't know for sure until I live with it for a few days.
My grandmother has been in town, living at my mothers house since January. Nonnie is driving Mom crazy after all these months and Mom's losing it! It's been good to have her around, but I can't imagine having to live with her for this long.
I've really been feeling the deployment distance, both space and time, the last few days.
 Trying to decide between Hawaii and California Wine Country for our post deployment vacation, probably wishful thinking, but you never know... |

Lol! I know, I should have listened to myself! But he had to go to Haiti within a few days and it was feeling better, so I just ignored it. I have definitely learned my lesson! Thanks girl |

Ours too! I am so frustrated because neither of us can figure it out! And as far as we both know, we aren't owed back pay for anything! WTH?!
Got my camera!
Went with the D5000, was going to get the D3000 but it didn't have live view and I don't want to have to look at EVERY time I want to take a picture!
I am so happy to foray into photography! I'll post a pic of the sunset I captured today!
I think the camera counts as our anniversary gift..it's just early, we just "celebrated" 10 months a few days ago...1 year is just around the corner!

Brebre- Hope everything works out. My sister's had to deal with all that type of stuff...wish guys would just step up when they need to.
El Paso Ladies- YES, all this wind sucks! I think gusts are opening and closing my fireplace....something up there is getting blown around. Well atleast the owls are out of there haha!
DH didnt have PT today so he got to go in late.
But I was so tired I stayed in bed.
When I woke up the first time I didnt have a sore throat or stuffy nose!
Unfortunately the second time I did.
I got up, showered, and got dressed within an hour this morning, but I didn't go anywhere lol.
When a Toyota commercial came on today I remembered Saturn sent me a notice to take my car in LAST month.... need to get that done before DH leaves. I'd be totally stuck if my car broke down after he leaves!
Hopefully he gets that halfday tomorrow....(yesterday everyone but him got released and he was on detail loading a truck. Now he's all sore and whiney)
I made two-layered jello snacks; strawberry and grape. A few tiny heart-shaped ones and then the excess I filled two walmart "wine glasses"..... they're plastic haha.
Cleaned for like 5 minutes today...
I got back to making my purse today...hand sewing piping around the edge. I'll probably get bored of it by noon tomorrow lol!
I'm hungery...sooo glad I ordered breadsticks too. They're running late.
Spending as much time as possible with DH.
Happy Hump Day....Tomorrow's THURSDAY!!! |

Had dinner with J's buddy R and his wife Had a good time Maybe this is the start of a friendship, it'd be nice to have a friend at the shop. One who's husband mine likes anyway. lol |

i was hauling laundry back up yesterday (wednesday) and a wind gust nearly blew the basket out of my han and me with it over the railing, i decided that i was done with laundry for the day. and its only half done. ggrrrr |
