So I was all geeked up to move up to be with DH while he finished A school, but we've decided there are too many unknowns, so I am staying put, indefinitely.
It's for the best, I know, but it sucks.
The right thing to do is never the easiest thing to do.

Thanks guys! that's what I needed to hear. The good news is I'm plenty busy finishing my own grad school, my friends, family and work are all here. I'll be able to buy a new car and get what I want instead of what I can afford and when I get to see him in 11 days, 20 hours 6 minutes and 50 seconds, we can go have fun instead of frantically trying to find a new place to live.
Sadly, it won't be over soon, but I'm trying to hang on to all the positive stuff. I may need to buy some new shoes. Shoes make everything better.

Shoes do make everything better. I am sorry to hear that plans fell through...just remember they fell through for the moment. Who knows when plans are gonna change again! ::hugs:: good luck finishing grad school and have fun in 11 days or so!

Maybe I'll just head over to the NEX and drool over the hot pink and tangerine orange coach bag or the off white D&B bag with the tan leather strap. Those put me in my happy place.
