Posted By Mrs. Navy on 02 Sep 2010 07:05 PM I could be completely wrong about this...but when we were looking into getting our w/d, I *think* someone told me that some (or most?) gas w/d's can also be electric, but electric's can't necessarily be gas as well--make sense? I guess if it's gas compatible already it's not that big of a deal to also have it be able to plug into a wall making it electric.
Posted By katiebug on 02 Sep 2010 07:06 PM jimmy's wife, don't worry about it. you do not need to defend yourself to anyone! my jaw seriously hit the floor when reading this! i have a front loader HE washing machine and dyer and the only problems i've had with it have been that the drum has fallen loose (they make excellent fire pits though!!)...which does and will happen eventually. if you are going to buy new, i recommend buying the warranty.
