Just to clarify, there are two ways to PM. If you are on a forum thread, you can click the envelope icon above that persons avatar. A few people with Vista are having trouble with this, so we're looking into it. The other option is to go to MyProfile, select Search, find your person, and then select "Send Message." This is also how you find other people's profiles.

In the right hand corner under forums, you'll see a link "chat in chatterbox" you can click that link and it will take you to the live chat. Also if you hover over "forums" in the purple toolbar at the top, you can click on chatterbox that way.
