I have read so many books on WWII and Irish History that I can't even remember. I wish I had all my books unpacked so I could just look on a bookshelf, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. I will just suggest what I can remember. "With the Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge. They have based the HBO miniseries The Pacific off of his stint with the Marines in WWII. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Wi...068/?itm=1 "Band of Brothers" Steven E. Ambrose. Anything by Ambrose is good. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Ba...en+ambrose
