I live in whiting pines near whiting field. Would love to met some friends,my husband is deployed and I have thre kids and don't know anyone

Hey ladies. I'm currently living in Pensacola about 10 min from NAS. I'll be moving to Yuma next month. I have to say, I didn't really like it here, the town is small and very ordinary. Throughout the year that I've been here I've noticed that it's not very often that wives get together and make friends. I only ever met the wives of my husband's buddies and wives that I work with on base, most of which have long since moved out. I heard about a USMC wife group last summer but it sounded intimidating to me because it was all officer wives and just all people that greatly outranked my husband (he's a Lance Corporal). So I never really met them. Maybe if you ask around your husband's command or at MWR?

I know personally my husband's squadron tries to do things, but I hate large groups of women (no offense to anyone...it just freaks me out). We don't have many neighbors, and I work from home and am working on my masters online because of my travel schedule, so it's been really hard to meet people.

I will be moving to Pensacola in feb. would love to meet you. My DH will be there for training.

I would love to meet some of you. I do not know any military wives.  

DH and I will be PCS'ing the end of this month and will be in Pensacola for 6 months while he is training. I would love to have some girl friends to go to the beach with and go workout with!
