I wouldn't classify the health care reform our country is going through as "moving towards the same ideals as places like China". Places like Sweden, or Canada? Perhaps - but I wouldn't put those countries in the same breath as China. Personally, I am getting tired of the scare tactics of associating it with China. China is a communist country, not a purely socialist one, and there are FAR more "ideals" that dictate how they run their country than socialist ones.

I'm not saying I agree OR disagree with the health care reform this country is undertaking. But relating it to China, IMO, is exaggeration of the situation.

Also being on bcp isn't always to prevent pregnancy it can also help with PMS and other symptoms that can cause other health issues. Several of my classmates were put on it in high school because of the PMS they had it bad. I went on it to because I was very irregular meaning I never knew when it would come sometime between 5 and 8 weeks so it was a pain in the rear always having to check. So my doctor recommended it and boy was I grateful in the long run.
