 You ladies know the drill.

I went for a run on the beach this morning and it was amazing (though a bit tougher than I expected)

I need some motivation any success stories out there?

I have absolutely nothing positive to write..I suck at life.
I have zero motivation and I just don't get it....I have my Dh coming home in 3-4months and you would think thta would be enough but it's not..I don't get it..I wish I could afford a personal trainer.

Hi! I didn't do too horrible last week but certainly didn't meet my goals I had gained 3lbs at the beginning of the week from eating out with the hubs but weighing in this morning I'm back down to my 'previous' set weight of 147lbs. SO, this is a new week and I'm going to try SUPER hard to knock off another lb or two I tried working out yesterday but not even 10min into my workout my daughter stuck a bean up her nose from that "spill the beans" kid game. The lil' stinker... so trying to get that out for almost 10min, I totally lost motivation to start my workout again. Oh well. Today is a new day

Good luck everyone with your goals! I know you can do it ktbug, sharkbait, and jimmy's wife

oops, sorry I didn't do this in the normal layout

Last Week I did not meet my goal of making two new meals. So that is a new goal for this coming week. I also ate out one other time aside from the taco bell that I mentioned having. Didn't really gain any weight, but didn't lose any either. I'm really good at maintaining lol.

This Week Again, I have the goal of making two new meals for either lunch or dinner. I also have the goal of one salad a day, for either lunch or dinner. I also want to start incorporating working out into my daily routine.

Motivation I know you can do it ladies! I don't really have any other words of encouragement but I hope that this coming week I can post a thing or two positive that can help you out

You don't have to do the normal layout. I just set that out to give people ideas what to talk about. I didn't do it this week either

Sharkbait and jimmyswife- I love both of you, but 120s and 130s?! don't beat yourself up. There is def nothing wrong with wanting to tone up and be healthier but I hate to see you two talk and treat yourselves like your obese or something! Stick with it but don't stress too much <3

I think I found my motivation again. Reading this thread with all the pounds posted I at 183 am the heaviest one out here

Yay for finding some motivation! I'm working out with my mom and she's currently at like, 126 lol. Yea mom... I've got 20lbs on you . . . her goal is approx 115lbs *bleck* lol. I love her but am totally jealous :p Oh well, she's also being a lot healthier than me and has been at the healthier lifestyle two more years than me lol.

Oh, and I was looking for the thread with that 'normal layout' and wasn't seeing it. Then realized that THIS is that thread. I really like the layout so I'm gonna keep using it

I think the only reason I stress is because I went along thinking that when I got to goal everything would be ok...45lbs later and I am light in weight but now I want real muscle...like Jamie Eason..she is so strong and beautiful!!

I'll hop on in here...

Let's see... Starting out I weighed 159.8 bleck Long term goal is to get fit, I don't care what the scale says as long as I look good. But if I could get back down in the 130's that'd be awesome. But I'd rather get my waist back into the 20's and tone my legs up really nice.

Last week: I didn't work out like I had planned on. It's hard to find the time, I've been trying some new recipes and cutting out red meat. We've been eating a lot of ground turkey in place of hamburger. But I did some weights, abs and bought new roller blades. Which caused me to almost kill myself. Somehow I managed to lose 2.2 lbs, 1% in my body fat and a few inches all over my body. I also started a weight loss blog to help keep me motivated.

This week: Find more time to work in exercise, even if it means doing squats while brushing my teeth or calf raises while washing dishes... lunges while doing laundry. I'd like to lose another % and see more tone.

Motivation: Change up your routine (muscle confusion) and focus on big muscles first, such as your legs before starting on smaller muscles.

"Strive for progress, not perfection" and remember "I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday"

eodwife you totally can if you work at it! When I started I could barely run for 10 min and not even close to a mi and look at me now! I never really focus on distance just on increasing how long i run for. I try to increase by 2-5 min each week

No, I have plantar fasciitis and tendonitis...if I run more than 1 1/2 miles I'm laid up for a week. It sucks, because J always wants me to run with him and I can't. Which is why I'm always looking for new ways to get cardio in. I need it since I can't run long distance.

eodwife Sorry to hear that. I don't know much about tendonitis. How do you do with stairs? I have to lay off the running after a few days myself because all the bouncing is hard on my back (size F boobs and all) the stair stepper burns more than even running. I am pouring sweat after only 10 min! And you can do it in your own house if it has stairs

I think you don't have gym access so Im trying to think of cardio you can do with out all the fancy gym machines.......the only other thing I can think of is swimming.....

The tendonitis is from cheerleading. I just do my running, walking at an incline, playing with the kids... soccer/frisbee etc, roller blading, riding my bike. Dancing. I'm hoping that maybe using my vibrams will eventually help with increasing the distance but we'll see. I just bought them in like Jan/Feb and haven't had a lot of chances to run long distance, but we'll see. There's a lot of ways to get cardio, I just had to get creative.

**btw, I have a lot of issues. lol**

I am toned...just not ripped and I want female boy builder muscles..not tone. I know exactly what I have to do and I feel a lot better now I am clean eating but I lack gym motivation and I can't seem to get it back.
Plus side...I weighed myself tonight...120.3lbs :-)

Sharkbait- WHEN you get those muscles I vote we get to see pics Just curious though, don't females have to take "supplements" to get muscles like that? Or can you do it naturally?
