Hey ladies   Thought we might want to update each other on where we stand with our current weightloss goals and achievements

I have certainly been doing various things to help me achieve my goals.  Both weightloss goals and just being healthier goals

Last week my main focus was working out every single day.  I did it!  Aside from friday.  Friday was a day that I did not workout.  Every other day though, I did   So I plan on doing that again this week (except I don't want any days off, instead, the workout rest day will be a day I try out yoga).  In addition, I am also going to focus on making sure I eat ENOUGH calories this week and greatly limit my dairy intake.  I know I have a dairy intolerance and I've always just ignored it before.  Not anymore!  It sucks, I love dairy SOOOOO MUCHHH but I know my body will thank me for not eating it nearly as often

Now, onto the actual weightloss part of my post   Back in November I started working out with a group of people doing the same fitness program and we chat with each other daily on facebook to keep the momentum going for us to reach our goals   It's been great!  I've really gotten to know the girls (it's 4 other people) and enjoy seeing their posts every day and commenting, etc.  Anyway, I started out November 7th at 160lbs.  The most I've ever weighed.  I'm barely 5'2" so this is not a healthy weight for me.  As of this morning I am at 141lbs.  That is 19lbs gone in 2mo!  Amazing and definitely worth it   I am so happy!  My goal weight is approx 120lbs.  I think that's at the high end of what my healthy weight should be.  I'm only 1lb away from my first 'goal weight' in order to get a haircut and new workout cothes   So excited!  There's a big possibility I will hit that by this weekend!  My hair desperately needs to be shorter LOL.

How're things going for you?

Hmmm, well I just started up again after the new year. We had so many things going on it was impossible to work out.

BUT, I started last Monday and either did yoga/pilates and c25k every day. Except for Sunday, that's the one day I give my body to rest. That's extremely important, to have the one day. I didn't take measurements but I'm done almost three pounds and I this morning when I snapped pictures I say a big difference. Shocking, but I am pleased. Currently I can't decide if I want to get back down to the size I was four years ago (size 5 in jrs and a 22 in waist) but if I do decide that I have only nine inches to lose. Totally doable!

I'm way too heavy for my size. I would love to get down to size 115. I'm 5'2 and around 160. I had lost 15 pounds last year but gained it back and more. I want to lose at least 15-20lbs by the 17th of next month? Is this possible or too high of a goal? I have a gym membership that I should use and I'm starting to eat healthier too.

Marilyn - it certainly is possible! You just have to be very careful with how you choose your goals.

If you are wanting to lose 15lbs in the next 30 days, you need to really step it up with the healthy eating and working out (mostly the eating). It really matters. Make sure you're eating the right amount of calories for your body and activity level. I still fight myself all the time with what I need to do, even though I know exactly what I need to do to be healthy! I lost my 15lbs during the first 6wks of my 90 day challenge. I haven't lost any weight since (haven't gained either, I've been maintaining w/o trying to do that lol).

If YOU feel it is too high of a goal, it will be. If you want to make a more manageable goal, make it 10lbs in one month. That is certainly doable (at the beginning anyway, the closer you get to your goal weight the harder it will be to lose weight).

If you'd like, you can check out www.beachbodycoach.com/bluedeaj and check out the team beachbody website You can create a free account via that link (it will make me your 'coach') and see what they have around there. One of their workout programs, Rockin' Body by Shaun T, is on sale right now for $20. It's normally $65 so a pretty nice discount there And of course he's yummy to look at! lol

Let me know if I can help you with anything

usmc - I've been doing good and giving myself one rest day a week

Thanks, I will try my hardest to lose the weight I want to. I want to look good at my husbands graduation and dining out. I know my husband loves me for who I am but I want to look good for him especially since he is going to be having these dinners and stuff. Also, I want to look good for me too.
