Dear Ms. Vicki,
I was browsing the
Military.com website and your page popped up. My situation is tremendously complicated, to say the least. Well here you go...I've been married with my wife for almost 10 years and we have a 1 year-old son together, but I. m in love with another woman who I met two and a half years ago while I worked overseas as a civilian contractor with the Army (she was a Soldier with the CA National Guard). My wife and I were not even on speaking terms when she got pregnant with my child but I decided to stop all communications with the other woman because I knew that staying with my wife was the right thing to do at that moment.
Through 2010 and as recently as May of 2011 I've worked with another company as a civilian contractor in Dubai, and I'm finally back home and want to raise my son, but since I've been back my wife and I are constantly fighting. Sometimes I can't stand being next to her -- she's the kind of person that always need to be given something, either that be money, affection etc. etc., whereas I never get anything in return. In contrast, the new woman in my life took care of all my personal stuff that I couldn't take care of while working overseas, and she's sent me anything I ever needed. She always took time to talk when I needed someone to talk to, she's a very selfless person.
