CinCHouse.com Support Community Terms of Service

Membership is a Privilege

Participation in CinCHouse.com’s Café and Chatterbox are privileges, not rights. CinCHouse.com reserves the right to revoke that privilege for any user it deems has violated the CinCHouse.com rules and guidelines at any time without warning.

Our goal is to create a supportive environment for military wives and women. While in the public forums, please keep things civil. To maintain a positive environment, we maintain and enforce strict rules about discussion board behavior and security issues. Do not think of CinCHouse as a Democracy but as a club in which you will follow the “CinCHouse Club Rules”. If you don’t like our approach, then don’t post here.

Users are not permitted to post negative, slanderous, abusive, hateful, harassing, inaccurate, vulgar, obscene, profane, racial, threatening, copyrighted, any other violations of the law or any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory about any person or entity including CinCHouse.

If you do so, this is terms for an immediate, no questions asked indefinite moderation or banning on our site. This also holds true for dramatic exits. Indefinite moderation means every single one of your posts will be read before they are approved to go live. There is no guarantee that all of your posts will be approved as our top priorities are with members who are in good standing with CinCHouse.com.

CinCHouse.com reserves the right to edit or delete any message posted on the discussion forum in violation of the TOS or OPSEC.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the members of this message board, CinCHouse.com and their agents with respect to any claim based upon viewing of this board and/or transmission of your message(s). Remember that the posted messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of CinCHouse or its volunteers.

We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of legal action arising from any message posted by you. By posting content on this message board, you agree that CinCHouse.com can quote from, or reuse the content in promotional materials, newsletters, or other documents. If we intend to use content posted by you in such a manner, we will generally notify you as a courtesy. All posts become the property of CinCHouse.com, except when copyrighted material is posted.

Do not violate OPSEC:

Operational Security or "OPSEC" is the most important threat to the safety of your service member. These are the rules that govern what we say about the troops, and they are based on the cliche' that 'loose lips, sink ships.' OPSEC requires the active participation of every single service member regardless of his or her rank or job and their spouses and family members. What seems innocent or insignificant can in fact be a piece of a much larger puzzle. The bottom line is failure to obey OPSEC rules and guidelines put our people at risk; don’t let them say they heard it from a military spouse or girlfriend! Lets keep these puzzle pieces apart!

Any post that violates ANY of the OPSEC rules will be edited or deleted depending on the extent of the information. This is not a violation of your 5th amendment. Remember what may not seem like a big deal to you may be a big deal to someone else. This includes phrases such as: “Jimmy will be home the day after my mother's birthday". If you are questioning your post, don't post it!

By using this service, you have agreed to and understand the above.

If you ever have a complaint, suggestion or question on how the community is run feel free to emai michelle@cinchouse.com and let her know!

Thank You!
